Isolated showers over the agricultural area will contract to southern coastal districts during the day and clear this evening as a high moves over the State. Morning fog patches. Cool with mainly light and variable winds. On Tuesday patchy rain will again develop over the Northwest Pastoral district northwest of about Coober Pedy. Areas of fog, with frost possible over agricultural areas. Conditions will remain cool in the south, grading to cool to mild in the north and west. Light winds under the high, will shift northerly and freshen in the west as the high moves eastwards. On Wednesday and Thursday, areas of rain will extend over the north of the Pastoral districts with patchy rain extending across the remainder of the State from the west, contracting eastwards during Thursday. Isolated thunder is possible. Isolated showers will follow over agricultural and adjacent pastoral areas following the rain. Conditions will be mild to warm with freshening northerly winds ahead of a cooler, moderate to fresh southwesterly change. Morning fog is possible on and east of the ranges on Wednesday. Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Thursday are expected to be 5-15 mm across the State, increasing to 15-30 mm on the ranges and about the southeast. Falls of 20-40 mm are possible over northern Pastoral districts. The outlook for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is for the rain to clear the far northeast on Friday with lengthy fine spells developing between light shower activity over agricultural areas on the weekend.
